The Slidell Activity Center is always providing activities 5 days a week. There are seniors that start walking early in the morning 25 laps around the inside of the building which equals 1 mile. Then the seniors have a nice healthy breakfast and go off to exercise with Kristy. After exercise the seniors have their choice of sewing in the sewing room or playing a game of pool, bingo, or card games. After the games are completed the seniors sit down and have a nice lunch. After lunch if you are not headed home you may stay behind and enjoy karaoke or mind games. We also have groups that come to the center in the afternoon to host card games or bingo. We have a garden which the seniors take care of and share the growth produced with each other. The center offers dances once a month after lunch which is enjoyed by all.
